Klayar Beach, When A Sea Flute Sounds So Fluty

Sea flute which sounds so fluty and the spinx karsts standing exotic are perfect creations existing in one of the south coasts of Pacitan. A place where two different characters of beaches lives together side by side.

Klayar Beach is an icon of the city of 1001 caves, Pacitan. It becomes the main destination for most of domestic tourists. Located in Donoharjo, Pacitan, this white sandy beach offers the white karsts sticking out like a crown. Those karsts make this beach different from the surrounding beaches. Moreover, there is a crack in one of its sides that will spout the water like a whale when the waves hit its bottom. That is the famous sea flute, the icon of this beach.

Not only that, the cluster of the karsts sits beautifully there. In fact, the tourists called it as Spinx, man-headed lion statue in Giza, Egypt. Different from other karsts that normally black, karsts in this spot stand in magnificent beige. If a huge wave came up and hit the karsts wall next to the Spinx karst, then the sights such as the waterfall would seem instantaneous. Awesome.

Klayar also keeps another uniqueness, there are two beaches with different types. Nevertheless, they can still be side by side. The time people see this beach, they can only see a crystal clear sea lined by a white sandy coast. However, when they are already in the beach, they will see another smaller beach among a cluster of karst and the cluster of Spinx karst. Although it is smaller, the waves is more dangerous than the other. So the parties entrust a coast guard to ensure no one playing near it.

Satisfied playing with the water, taking pictures near the Spinx Karst and the sea flute, it's time to enjoy the local cuisine. Small food stalls offering seafood and instant noodles (of course) lined near the rocky hills, a little farther from the shore. If you don't want to eat a heavy food, the fresh young coconut is the right choice. Enjoying a wonderful beach with young coconut water is always be a perfect mix. Hmmm ...It feels just like home!
